Who are you? What do you want to be called? Where are you? This is the information that is contained in the "Your Account" Page - "Account Information" Section. This is the information that is used to confirm your identity, determine the name which will be used for any posts you make, gives the opportunity for you to show off a Web Page of your choice, and puts you into a country locale.

[edit] e-Mail Address

This is the address used to identify you to the BOINC Powered Project, and the e-Mail Address that will receive any newsletters that the Project deigns to send out to us lowly crunchers. It is also used to help derive your Cross-Project Identifier, and therefore the same e-Mail Address should be used for all projects you decide to attach to. Your e-Mail Address can be edited directly from this page. A Verification e-Mail should be sent to the new e-Mail Address, and you will not be able to make any changes to your settings until verification is complete. SO PLEASE USE A REAL e-Mail Address!!

[edit] Name

This is the name used to identify you with in the Project. It is used in the forums, and on the various stats sites

[edit] URL

This line shows a URL of your choice, often to your personal home page.

[edit] Country

Chose the country you most identify with, usually either where you are physically or your nationality. If you're a Global Citizen, "International" is also an option.

[edit] Postal Code

Further information about your whereabouts. (American translation: Zip Code)

This link brings you to the forms which allows you to modify the above five (5) pieces of information, and other Account Information like the Account Password.
