[edit] General
Message Type: Warning Message
This message means that the BOINC Daemon has been getting requests to perform some action by a remote compuer at the listed IP Address, but there is either:
- no Remote Hosts File in the BOINC Directory, or
- the computer at this IP Address is not listed in the Remote Hosts File.
One reason for getting 300 rejected connections is a badly-programmed program (BoincView in this case) is hammering the computer every 2 seconds even though it isn't getting a reply.
The BOINC Manager will only try a couple times before giving up.
