Application Version

All Science Applications must have a Version Number associated with them. This number consistes of a Major Version and a Minor Version number. It may be expressed as 4.01 or 401 depending on the usage.

Begining with Major Version #5 a third Revision Version is being added to the Version Numbers. It will no longer be acceptable to use the compressed Version Number. All Version Numbers will be seperated into fields, for example "5.1.14".
