Assimilated Result

The end result of the processing of a Work Unit is a Result and a Result Data File. The end result of the processing of all of the Results produced by the Participants is, hopefully, a Canonical Result that will be saved as an Assimilated Result. This is the ultimate end point of the scientific processing that is limited to the scope of the Work Units and Results. Of course the end product of the Project is a large collection of valid, meaningful, and Assimilated Results.
When a Result passes through the Assimilator, the output product is an Assimilated Result; and therefore the Result can be said to have been assimilated.
