A BOINC Account Manager is a Web Site that facilitates finding and joining BOINC Powered Projects. Furthermore, it enables for central management of all account information that is known from the particular BOINC projects' web sites. Moreover, a BOINC Account Manager permits attaching/detaching a single or multiple hosts to/from projects using the central web interface without having to touch the BOINC Manager on the particular machine(s). This signifcantly reduces effort for management of multiple hosts.

When connected to a BOINC Account Manager, a host reconnects to the BAM periodically (e.g. every 24 hours). Please see Attaching to Account Manager for further instructions.

There are only a few BOINC Account Managers available for public use, so far.
