Message Type: Warning Message

This error occurs at the start-up of the BOINC Client Software on a Microsoft Windows® computer when the Participant changes the logged-on user. Depending on how the BOINC Client Software was installed, when an attempt is made to start a second copy of the BOINC Client Software, it conflicts with the copy of the BOINC Client Software that is already running.

This is most common with the "personal" install.

The original copy of the BOINC Client Software should still be running.

Be the First! 
Zip up and send all TXT and OLD files in your BOINC Directory and then mail them to Chris at:
boinc-wiki@cjmweb.fsnet.co.uk
