A BOINC Web Site is a "packaged" collection of scripts, programs, files, and so on; that are used by a BOINC Powered Project to present their "face" to the public.

As with all Distributed Computing projects, there is a need to formulate information for the Participants to enable them to manage their Accounts. Because the Web Site is software like the remainder of the project, having a "standard" set of already built pages makes the maintenance of the project a lot simpler.

Even better, as the number of BOINC Powered Projects continues to grow, new features desired by one Project only have to be developed once and then the remaining projects can all "cash-in" on the new feature.
