Bad Page
From Unofficial BOINC Wiki
[edit] General
A "page" is a container of information used in either a Virtual Memory system or a Database system as a predefined size data object. A bad page is a faulty or defective data container. In the case of Virtual Memory, the page failure is usually detected by hardware monitoring of the state of the physical memory. In a Database the detection usually occurs as a result of the inability of the Database to access the expected internal structures.
