Message Type: Status Message

This Message shows how much disk space the BOINC Client Software has detected at startup. It also tells how much is available for use.

   • This outputs the location of the BOINC Client Software. Note that the path is given in a normal Windows format.
5. Processor: '(processor identification string)'
   • This shows how the BOINC Client Software has recognized the CPU.
6. Memory: '(memory size)' MB physical, '(memory size)' GB virtual
   • This message shows how much memory the BOINC Client Software has detected.
7. Disk: '(disk size)'
   • This shows the total disk space and how much is free. The entire free amount may not be available for the BOINC Client Software to use.
8. Computer ID: '(computer-id)'; location: '(venue)'; project prefs: '(venue-prefs)'
   • This message details the basic configuration information about the Participant's Computer for a particular Project. It lists the assigned Host ID, Venue, and the Preference Set that will be used for this Project.
9. Computer ID: '(computer-id)'; location: '(venue)'; project prefs: '(venue-prefs)'
   • This message details the basic configuration information about the Participant's Computer for a particular Project. It lists the assigned Host ID, Venue, and the Preference Set that will be used for this Project.
10. Computer ID: '(computer-id)'; location: '(venue)'; project prefs: '(venue-prefs)'
    • This message details the basic configuration information about the Participant's Computer for a particular Project. It lists the assigned Host ID, Venue, and the Preference Set that will be used for this Project.
11. Computer ID: '(computer-id)'; location: '(venue)'; project prefs: '(venue-prefs)'
    • This message details the basic configuration information about the Participant's Computer for a particular Project. It lists the assigned Host ID, Venue, and the Preference Set that will be used for this Project.

    • This message details the basic configuration information about the Participant's Computer for a particular Project. It lists the assigned Host ID, Venue, and the Preference Set that will be used for this Project.

    • This lists the source Project and the time that the General Preferences were updated. This Host does not recognize the source Project so the Project Master URL is displayed instead.
14. General prefs: no separate prefs for '(venue)'; using your defaults
    • The Participant has not assigned Preference setting to the Venue of this Host so the Default Preferences are used.
15. Remote control allowed
    • This message indicates that the Participant has configured this Host's BOINC Client Software so that it can be monitored by another computer on the local network with the BOINC Manager or other similar applications (BOINC-View, etc.).
