Participant's Profile

A collection of information that is specific to one individual Participant. This information contains facts like the Participant's name, the URL for their Web Site (if any), computer identities, etc. including the most important qualifier, which of course is to restrict (or not to restrict) access to this data. This is one of the many settings that the Participant can use to customize their participation in the Projects running on the BOINC Client Software. Individual Projects may also have settings that the Participant can use for that specific Project.
A Participant that has a Profile available has the "Head" icon that indicates a Participant has a Profile. as an indicator that a Profile is available. Normally this icon can be "clicked" and that clicking on the icon will take you to that Participant's Profile.
