Project Scientist

A Project Scientist is a member of the Project Staff concerned with the scienficic aspects of the project, usually organising which Work Units are to be run next, and analysing the results of completed Work Units.

Initially the Project Scientist(s) will work with the Project Developer(s) to establish what the Science Application needs to do, and how it should go about doing it. The Project Developer will write the actual code, but the Project Scientist will specify what the code needs to do, and thus what the Science Application will ultimately do.
