Project Tester

A member of the Project Staff who tests new versions of a projects' Science Application or new verieties of Work Units for the other members Project Staff (Project Developer(s), Project Scientist(s) or Project Administrator(s)).

A Project Tester reports bugs and findings to the other members of the Project Staff.

A Project often has a seperate BOINC Server Software installation to enable them to have a completely seperate Test Project, so that any negative effects of testing do not affect the main project and its' Servers.
