Screen Saver & Graphics Display - Einstein@Home
Screen Saver & Graphics Display - Einstein@Home

The Screen Saver and graphics module for the Einstein@Home Project. This, of course, is the default display for the Science Application.

We are looking at the celestial sphere (sky) with the constellations. Superimposed on this are the Gravity Wave Observatories (the three colored "angle images") and the "Search Marker" (a "Bulls-Eye").

The image can be controlled by the mouse.

Mouse Button Action
Left Clicking the left mouse button and draging allows you to control the rotational position of the image.
Right Clicking the left mouse button and draging allows you to control observers position. As shown in the second example you can move to the position of the earth and look out at the celestial hemisphere as it tracks across the sky. This effect is shown in the next example.
