This Message means that the BOINC Client Software was directed by the Participant to cease processing of a Work Unit/Result and return an "Client Error" Result Outcome to the Project.

The Participant selects a Result in the Work Tab and then clicks one of the "Tasks" buttons on the tab to "Abort", "Suspend", or "Resume" processing; in this specific case the button is "Abort".
