Work Unit Data File

This is the actual raw data that needs to be processed by the Science Application into a Result and a Result Data File. The data may be contained within one datafile, or in a set of data files. In essence, this is the actual data to be processed. It is not normally mentioned as a separate entity, but in most cases the "Work Unit" is used as a synonym for the Work Unit Data File.
